I have a BS in Chemistry from UCSB and a MBA from Pepperdine University.
I started off my first decade gaining great training at a Fortune 50 company in new business and new market development. Then came a dozen years in various senior management positions for a mid-size startup establishing a National sales organization, expanding a product line globally, and eventually leading the Company into the
Asian market. Most recently, I sold a small manufacturing business I founded in Ventura, where I was involved in all aspects; brand development, social media, sales & marketing, production planning and even kept the books for a while.
My creative ideas come from years of traveling all over the world and being exposed to unique situations. For example, the time I was driving with my rep in Seoul, Korea looking for a parking space. He pulled up to some double parked cars, got out and pushed one aside to open a space for us. After, he told me this was common to double park your car in neutral so that others could push it aside. Who would have thought.
My skill set is general sales & marketing and startups for both Business-to-Business and direct to consumer. Specific focus in economic, new business, new product, and new market development. I can also help small manufacturers with production planning. Not limited to the following industries; food, material science, aerospace, medical device, and electronics.
I am also a volunteer mentor and speaker for SCORE Ventura County. A non-profit partner of the Small Business Administration.
